The Collective

The collective HisTheShit, founded in 2010, consists of six artists from Munich. We describe ourselves as social critics who want to address socially critical themes with their art in order to create an awareness for them in the viewer. This is an open collective whose number of participants always depends on the project. We use a variety of media, including photography, video, installation, computer programming, 3D media and painting, which always adapt to the content-related debate. Exhibitions have already taken place in cities all around the globe, located in Germany, Austria, Spain, Holland, Iceland, Serbia, Russia and Ecuador.
